Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you travel for destination weddings?

I am available for small, intimate weddings and elopements rather than large traditional celebrations. I’m available to travel throughout the Pacific Northwest, and I occasionally have blocks of time that allow for further destination travel. If you have something in mind that’s further afield, reach out and let’s talk through the logistics together.

2. Do you help with planning our engagement session and surprise proposals?

Yes! Engagement sessions are a wonderful way to get comfortable in front of the camera together before your wedding day, and those photos make beautiful save-the-dates. I also love being part of proposal moments — if you’re planning to pop the question and want it captured, reach out and we’ll plan it together.

3. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

A non-refundable deposit of 50% is due at booking to hold your date. The remaining balance is due before your session begins.

If the Client needs to reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice and we will find a new date that works for both parties.

If the Client cancels with less than 24 hours notice, the session fee is non-refundable. If the Photographer needs to cancel, the session fee will be returned in full.


4. Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?

At this time I deliver digital files only, sent via an online gallery. If you’re interested in receiving your images on a physical drive or have questions about printing, feel free to ask — I’m open to exploring options as my services continue to develop.

5 can I request raw or unedited images?

Raw and unedited files are not included and won’t be provided. Part of what you’re hiring me for is the edit. I shoot hundreds to thousands of frames per session and spend hours selecting and refining the best images down to the ones that truly represent the embodiment of our vision. What you receive is a curated, fully edited gallery that I stand behind.

6. Can I request specific poses or shots?

Yes, collaboration is always welcome. Come with inspiration, ideas, a Pinterest board, and a feeling! I want to hear it. That said, great photography is also shaped by light, location, and timing, so I’ll always be working with you to find what serves the vision best within the conditions we have.

7. Can we meet before the session?

Absolutely. I love a good conversation before we work together. For most sessions a phone or video call is the perfect way to connect, talk through your vision, and make sure we’re a good fit. If your project calls for an in-person location scout, I’m happy to do that too. Travel time and scouting can be rolled into your overall package at an agreed upon rate. Just reach out and we’ll figure out what makes sense.

8. How long till I receive the final photos?

You can expect your edited gallery to be delivered within two to three weeks of your session. If you’re hoping for a sneak peek before the full gallery is ready, just let me know. I’m happy to share a few favorites early.
